Katherine and Burkett didn’t want to gamble with our iffy New York Spring weather and chose a wonderful indoor venue in Long Island City, The Metropolitan Building. It’s a fantastic location for any kind of photo shoot because it has great light and lots of cool rooms and props to work with. I wanted to post a few of the portraits from their wedding. I’ll put together a longer post on their wedding day soon. Stay tuned.

Betsy and Sibin’s Puerto Rico wedding is coming up super fast….right after New Year’s. I’m excited to be shooting their San Juan wedding. And looking forward to some warm weather (just a little bit). We managed to sneak this shoot in ahead of their January destination wedding in one of my favorite areas to shoot. It was nice to see Jane’s Carousel up and running again after Superstorm Sandy flooded the park.
National Geographic has always set the standard for the highest quality photography and storytelling. In an era were the printed image has taken a backseat to the web it’s still a treat to behold those beautifully printed images in a copy of the magazine to truly appreciate great photography.
